The international campaign has been integral to our service recovery plan. It has resulted in a large cohort (over 35) of qualified social workers being introduced into our service at pace and with a consistent induction programme. This has enabled the service to reduce our agency spend, provide a balanced caseload across all teams and deliver a very low (4%) uncovered vacancy gap. The overseas recruitment campaign has supported our overall improvement programme and resulted in a very positive Ofsted outcome. Working closely with Frontier has been a critical element of the success of the recruitment. Frontier have brought a high degree of professionalism and support to the onboarding and settlement of the cohort. This close working relationship has resulted in a smaller than expected attrition rate.
