Are you a qualified Occupational Therapist ready for a new chapter and an exciting career change in Australia?
A new opportunity has arisen within a thriving, well-established allied health clinic in Ballarat, Australia.

Frontier Consulting is working in partnership with this clinic to recruit motivated Occupational Therapists looking to relocate and build a long-term career within a supportive and structured clinical environment.

Your Role
You will deliver high-quality, client-centred occupational therapy services across NDIS and My Aged Care settings, supporting clients to improve independence, function, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive functional assessments using evidence-based tools
Developing and implementing individualised, goal-based treatment plans
Assessing and prescribing assistive technology (mobility aids, adaptive equipment, etc.)
Recommending and supporting home modifications to improve safety and independence
Delivering direct occupational therapy interventions across community settings
Monitoring and reviewing client progress using outcome measures
Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with professional standards
Collaborating closely within a multidisciplinary allied health team
You will work alongside physiotherapists, speech pathologists, behaviour support practitioners, and care coordinators in a highly collaborative environment.

Requirements

Key skills and requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent internationally recognised qualification)
  • Current registration with a relevant professional body (e.g.HCPC or equivalent)
  • Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice approach
  • Excellent communication and client-centred care skills
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in NDIS, aged care, or community practice (desirable)
